The brand new Thousand Islands Boat Museum is located right in the heart of River on Gananoque's beautiful waterfront. Situated in a handful of newly renovated buildings, the museum offers a wide range of exciting experiences for all ages. See Optimist sailboats being constructed in real time, learn about the Iconic St. Lawrence skiff, or take a walk into the past and see some of the classic boats built right here in Gananoque. Don't forget to bring the kids as the Children's Activity Center provides river inspired arts and crafts activities. Come and experience the River's newest attraction and learn more about the rich boating history of the 1000 Islands.
